Job Details

Equity Labs at the Graduate School of Social Work seeks talented facilitator-collaborators with deep experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to join our team. This position will facilitate Equity Labs and be responsible for the following duties.

Information on Equity Labs

Equity Labs is a diversity, equity, and inclusion program that catalyzes meaningful workplace change through practice and application. Equity Labs support organizations, individuals, and teams who want to make their workplaces equitable for all employees and stakeholders. Participation in the Labs includes immersive activities and expertly facilitated conversations to shift participants perspectives. Pre-work and follow-up engagement provide additional opportunities to practice, reflect, and deepen learnings among colleagues.

Equity Labs engages participants in three pillars, 1) Deepening Human Connection to explore diverse perspectives, 2) Embracing Difficult Conversations to build capacity, 3) Imagining an Equitable World to set the practice in motion. In the Labs, we build awareness of the myriad ways systemic inequities create unwelcoming workplaces; we provide tools and strategies participants can put to use to shift these dynamics; we create a space in which to practice and apply these learnings; we tap into individual creativity to imagine whats possible, what could be in place of what is. Equity Labs also offers 30, 60, and 90-day check-ins to participants to support the application of the learning from the Labs. For more information: https://www.equityis.org/equity-labs
