Job Description:

The University of Texas Permian Basin seeks a lecturer of Psychology beginning August 2021. The successful candidate should hold a M.A. or Ph.D. in psychology and have experience teaching on-line. While the area of expertise is open, those with experience teaching research methods are encouraged to apply.

Lecturers teach five courses in the spring and fall semesters and provide service to the department, college, and university. There are opportunities for summer teaching, if desired.

UT Permian Basin is one of seven academic institutions in the University of Texas System; there are also six health science institutions in the UT System. The Department of Psychology presently has 7 full-time faculty. We offer the BA on-line and face-to-face. Both are robust programs. We also offer the MA in Psychology with clinical and experimental concentrations.
