Job Description:The Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas Permian Basin welcomes applicants for the position of Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering. Candidates who can teach courses within the core undergraduate Electrical Engineering curriculum will be considered.

Required Qualifications:• Master’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skill levels
• Ability to use technology in teaching
• Ability to use collaborative learning techniques and student centered methods of instruction
• Ability to work in a multiethnic/multicultural environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evening assignments – daytime availability a plus (in some cases, may be required)
• Previous experience teaching at the college/university level
