Position Highlights:

This position will be trained to be responsible for facilitating the Safer Bars sexual assault prevention training curriculum at local alcohol-serving establishments. This curriculum is 2, 2.5 hour sessions held in-person at the establishment. This program is being implemented as part of a larger research study on its efficacy. Bars will be recruited by other research staff, and this position will only be responsible for implementing the training.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the two-session Safer Bars curriculum in-person at local bars at times that are convenient for the bar.
  • Preparing materials for trainings, testing equipment prior to conducting the training, and debriefing the training with research staff.
  • Communicating with the bar to confirm training date, time, and space requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Up to 1 year of relevant work experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Bachelor's in Education or Public Health.*Experience working in an alcohol-serving establishment or content knowledge of sexual violence.
