Responsible and accountable for observation of all monitors in the central monitoring station, this includes 3 A-B-C-D, 4AB, 4CD, 5AB, 5CD, 6AB, 6CD; MICU, reporting any abnormalities, obtaining, routing, documenting, and accurately defining rhythm strips. Performs ECG tests on patients as assigned.Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience/Licensing:1. Graduate of an associate degree program in cardiovascular technology or have completed one year of the associate degree program in cardiovascular technology or have a minimum of 5 years experience in performing EKGs with the ability to recognize arrhythmias and/ or Telemetry Monitoring experience. 2. Must be willing to work flexible hours. 3. Successfully completes an arrhythmia test, with a 80% overall including 100% on the fatal arrhythmia section. 4. Certification through CCI is preferred. 5.
