Workforce Trainer - Health Professions and Public Service
Part-time Adjunct Faculty

Workforce Trainers provide skills-based training and experiences in a traditional or non-traditional classroom setting and/or lab environment. The instruction provided will be specific to participants enrolled in Workforce Education offerings across the career continuum including, but not limited to career starters, career changes, those seeking career advancement, and professional development.
The qualified trainer will be able to participate in training needs assessment using various techniques, conduct interactive and engaging training (at multiple sites around the region) for individuals, groups and companies using alternative and non-traditional methodologies appropriate and effective for working with adult learners, working with the Workforce Education Program Manager to prepare and/or select education materials, and assist with the development and/or evaluation of new curricula and program designs.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of ten years experience as an Illinois 911 Telecommunicator with a multi-jurisdictional Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and multi-disciplinary (police, fire, and EMS) agency.
Certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD)
Certified Training Officer (CTO)
American Heart Association certification in CPR
