Coordinator of School Operations - DeVoe School of Business

Position Summary:

The Coordinator of School Operations has primary responsibility for coordinating operational support functions of the school with regard to daily communications, budget expenditures, meetings, events, and travel. The Coordinator provides primary assistance to the Dean, and secondary assistance to administrative staff and full-time faculty as needed.

Dean, DeVoe School of Business

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.At least two years’ experience as an administrative assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Serve internal and external constituents with the highest degree of efficiency and effectiveness. This position functions as the primary point of contact for resource information and assistance to full-time faculty in concert with the School administrative leadership team.
    Provide administrative support to the Dean by following requests carefully and in a timely manner, demonstrating a high degree of flexibility toward change and a willingness to learn new knowledge and skills necessary to provide a continuous high degree of service.
    Provide administrative support including filing, typing, copying, setting up appointments, making travel arrangements, taking messages, & distributing confidential materials for the Dean.
    Manage the Dean’s calendar.
    Assist with all other functions of the School as needed.
Qualifications:

1.Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

2.Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.

3.Efficiency and accuracy completing tasks that require attention to detail.

4.Self-starter with an ability to multi-task and work without supervision.

5.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Adobe Suite.
