General Summary of Position:

The Francis College of Engineering is searching for an outstanding candidate for Visiting Professor in Industrial Engineering. The college includes 130 faculty members, 30% of whom are women, and has over 3,000 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students. The University is located in the historic industrial city of Lowell, Massachusetts and serves the multicultural population of the Commonwealth. The College has been nationally recognized for its commitment to diversity by the American Society for Engineering Education.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Applicants must have earned a doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering, or closely related discipline.

This position of Visiting Professor in Industrial Engineering (IE) offers opportunities to develop and teach courses that cross-cut theory and application in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering.

Candidates with experience in engineering education and design of effective and inclusive pedagogical approaches will be given strong consideration.
