Job Summary

The Computer Science Program in the Department of Mathematics, Sciences, and Technology at the University of West Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Computer Science position. The position is located on UWG’s main campus in Carrollton, GA. The selected candidate will be expected to teach a wide variety of computer science courses and share the program’s dedication to teaching excellence and service.

Required Qualifications A Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field is required at the time of appointment, as well as an authentic commitment to student-centric excellence in teaching and a desire to embrace innovative methods in teaching and learning, including online program delivery and development. We seek candidates who are committed to an objects-first approach and the proliferation of current software development industry practices in the curriculum.
