Healthcare Studies: Visiting Assistant Professor of Healthcare Studies - 000080HS

The Department of Healthcare Studies at the University of Richmond invites applications for a full-time, one-year visiting assistant professor position in Health Studies to begin August 2021. The area of specialization is health policy with the experience and demonstrated ability to teach an HS 100 “Introduction to Health Studies” course, but the area of concentration is open. We seek candidates with demonstrated teaching excellence and a strong commitment to high quality undergraduate education. The teaching load is six courses for the year, consisting of two sections of HS 100 and one course in the area of specialization each semester. Experience with instructional technologies is required. PhD is expected prior to appointment. This is a non-tenure track appointment.
