Texas Lutheran University is seeking applicants for an Associate Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations. This full-time position reports to the Directors of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations and will provide a full range of moderate to complex work assignments in support of the Annual Giving and Alumni Relations areas. This position also interacts with and supports a wide range of staff, faculty, students, parents, alumni, and donors.

Position requirements include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
  • Previous experience in annual giving or development is preferred
  • Strong skills in organization, human relations, and communications
  • Ability to work with diversity of alumni groups, ages, and interests
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter
  • Ability to effectively work with and manage others
  • Active problem solving and effective interpersonal skills required
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Understanding of and a commitment to the TLU mission and strategic plan
