Post Doctoral Fellow - Solaymani-Mohammadi Lab
The candidate will perform laboratory-based research in this area including:
- The design, implementation, analysis, and interpretation of laboratory experiments.Assist in grant and manuscript preparation.Help train graduate and undergraduate students.Participate in all additional facets of the research laboratory.
- Possess a recent (3 years ago or less) Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in immunology, microbiology/parasitology, infection biology or related discipline.Minimum of 4 years research experience in at least one of the following areas: immunology, microbiology, infection microbiology, as demonstrated in your CV.Minimum of one first author peer-reviewed publication in top-tier journalsSuccessful completion of criminal history records check

- Demonstrated ability to independently complete complex research programs.Proficiency in scientific oral and written communication.Experience with flow cytometry.Familiarity with microbiome analysis.Knowledge of immunology, primary cell culture, qRT-PCR, RNA/DNA isolation and purification, transcriptome analysis.
