Curriculum Administrative

Term: 9 month Position

Reports to: Curriculum manager with a dotted line relationship to the Phase I Curriculum Coordinator

Desired hours: 30 hours per week  

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administration of on-campus learning events on the Anschutz Medical Campus
  • Greet students at designated entry points, ensure that students meet campus requirements for on-campus learning, capture attendance, assist with directing any questions/concerns, and guide students to specified learning locations
  • Assist with the administration of remote learning activities in support of School of Medicine curriculum
  • Schedule Zoom sessions, load preassigned small group rosters, communicate session information to faculty, students, and staff
  • Attend learning events in the role of session host – confirm attendance, distribute students and faculty to designated small group rooms, screenshare relevant resources
  • Manage data entry and data validation processes in support of the Foundations of Doctoring Curriculum and the Preceptor Database
  • Enter data from various sources into the Preceptor database with an emphasis on accuracy and consistency of data entry methods
  • Seek to consolidate multiple data sources into one master source
  • Validate existing data in the Preceptor Database by comparing it to publicly available clinical site information
  • Must be comfortable working with data sheets such as Excel, Access, or SmartSheets
  • Assist in the administrative set up of campus sessions using the iLios learning management platform
  • Upload small group assignments, confirm faculty appointments for small group and lecture sessions, confirm accurate date, time, and room locations
  • When sessions are set, publish them to student calendars or post updates as required
  • Additional projects as assigned by the Curriculum Manager or Curriculum Coordinator team Salary and Benefits:

    The hiring range is $17.00-$21.00 per hour and is negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience.  This position is eligible for overtime compensation.

    The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

    The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

    Support (Temporary)

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED with 1 year experience working as an administrative experience
    • 1-2 years of experience managing databases, with an emphasis on data entry and validation
    • 1-2 years of administrative experience in a professional environment
    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite with particular familiarity in using Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience using remote communication platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or equivalent
    • Prior experience in a higher education or medical education environment
    • Prior experience with Access data management program
    Desired skills and experience:

    • Confident with managing large data sets with a strong attention to accuracy and detail
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to evolving needs in a fast-paced higher education environment
    • Presentation and public speaking experience
    • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Focus on providing excellent customer service
