Job Description

The department of Language, Literature, and Arts at the Texas A&M University-San Antonio campus is seeking to fill part-time Adjunct faculty positions in English. The successful candidate will teach lower-division undergraduate sections of the general education courses in English and/or American literature. Summer teaching assignments may be available but are not guaranteed. Teaching assignments are either face-to-face or online (synchronous or asynchronous) and may include day or night classes.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in English, or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution.
  • 18 graduate hours in English, or similar field.
  • College or University teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience with teaching English classes preferred.
  • Experience with hands-on teaching techniques preferred.
  • Experience in culturally diverse settings preferred.
