The Master of Public Administration is a dynamic and growing program housed in the Department of Civic Engagement and Public Service, which offers a BS in political science, a political science minor, and a minor in Public Administration. The department also offers Graduate Certificates in Public Management, Nonprofit Management and Community Development, and Disaster Management, as well as undergraduate certificates in Human Rights advocacy and Data Analytics. The Department of Civic Engagement and Public Service at the University of West Georgia seeks innovative, equity-minded applicants for a Limited-Term Instructor in Public Administration to begin in August 2021. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching in the fully online public administration graduate programs and must also teach face-to-face and online undergraduate political science courses. The position requires an earned Ph.D. from an accredited research university in Public Administration, Political Science, Public Policy or a related field; the ability to teach graduate-level public administration courses; and the ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds Candidates with a background in nonprofit management, disaster management, public health administration, and data analytics are particularly encouraged to apply.Required Qualifications Ph.D. from an accredited research university in Public Administration, Political Science, Public Policy or a related field.Proposed Salary
