Job Summary The Department of Social Sciences at Clayton State University is seeking applicants for a part-time instructor to teach one or more undergraduate courses in American Government for the Political Science program starting in August 2021. Successful candidates may will be required to teach classes at the Henry County, Rockdale County Academy, and/or Forest Park High or instructional sites. Applicants must have a Master of Political Science, Ph.D. or JD degree from an accredited institution with at least 18 graduate hours or equivalent experience in political science.

Each position is a semester-long appointment with the possibility of being offered an appointment in future semesters. Compensation for each course is $2,750 for applicants with an earned J.D. or doctorate, or $2,350 with a Master’s degree. Minorities and women are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities Teaching POLS course(s) as described above.
