Position Highlights:

The Global Curriculum Coordinator plays a key role in the academic administration of all microcampus locations and Global Direct. The Global Curriculum Coordinator will be responsible for working with assigned academic departments and partner institutions to ensure course sections are listed on UAccess, Global Lecturers are approved, textbook information is collected and shared, academic calendars are received, etc. The person in this position also manages specific initiatives and processes. Other duties as assigned, which may include articulation of courses and degrees between UA and its international partners.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Facilitation of Course Development & FacultyResources:

  • Collaborates with the Office of Digital Learning to facilitate course development and implementation
  • Participates in academic department presentations
  • Works closely with academic departments administrative staff to provide guidance in the creation of courses on UAccess and ordering of Course Evaluations
  • Coordinates with Location Managers to complete Institutional Teaching Profiles


  • Distribute Co-teaching Survey at the end of the semester at assigned locations
  • Maintain depository of data and creates reports

Academic Administration:

  • Responsible for academic administration of assigned microcampus locations
  • Works closely with academic departments on scheduling of courses, listing correct dates, sharing partner’s academic calendar and meeting times
  • Coordinates approval of Global Lecturers by collecting CVs and coordinating communication with academic department
  • Collects textbook information and shares that information with partner institutions
  • Works closely with academic administrators to submit course evaluations for microcampus courses
  • Oversees online onboarding process of Global Lecturers at assigned microcampus locations
  • Collaborate with other units within UA Global to ensure student success


  • Attend all Arizona Global One Team meetings
  • Serve as member of Arizona Global committees/task forces as required
  • Represent UA locally, nationally and internationally, as needed
  • Maintain currency in field through professional development
  • Attend conferences and workshops as appropriate on a rotating basis
  • Participate, as possible, in Arizona Global events
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in education, international relations or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is typically required
  • At least one year of experience working with faculty members
  • Educational program management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively working across departments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in any related field
  • Two years of experience working in education internationally
  • Experience with educational program assessment
