The department of Marketing is actively seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist to work on the UHealth campus. The Marketing Specialist assists with the development and implementation of strategies, initiatives and marketing and communication plans for the University of Miami Health System and designated service lines. The Specialist will be assigned duties that advance the implementation of marketing and communications campaigns and assist with campaign analytics to determine ROI. Duties include writing, editing, creating and/or acquiring content for websites, social media, and other marketing communications channels. Specialist will provide support on marketing projects as assigned by the Executive Director, Marketing Healthcare, including digital marketing, collateral and print development and other advertising activities.
Core Job Functions- Works closely with marketing directors and supports in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and other strategic marketing initiatives.
- Provides writing, editing and research support for print, web & intranet projects, and other marketing projects as directed.
- Works with team to develop social media content and provides day-to-day support of social media accounts and strategy as needed.
- Demonstrates ability to manage, develop, plan and deliver projects with minimal direction.
- Communicates project updates and plans with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Manages deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously and completes work quickly and with high attention to detail.
- May support the Health System’s customer relationship management (CRM) strategy by building and scheduling marketing campaigns on-platform in line with marketing strategies and acquisition goals.
- Develops and maintains detailed reports of analytical results that track trends of different marketing efforts in areas assigned.
- Assists in obtaining vendor quotes and verifying production specs; develops and monitors project timelines.
- Performs other related duties and supports department leaders and marketing directors on projects as assigned or requested.
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, exceptional organizational skills.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills including editing skills.
- Ability to review data and determine trends and assist in developing recommendations based on the data.

- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
