Job Information The Department of Kinesiology, in the College of Education at Augusta University (AU) invites applications for a full- time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Kinesiology. Preferred areas of specialization are biomechanics or motor behavior. The full-time tenure-track appointment begins in August 2021, and includes teaching undergraduate courses and graduate courses. Advising undergraduates, engaging in scholarly activity and research, and providing service to the community and profession are also expected. Minimum Requirements Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate in Kinesiology, Exercise & Sports Science or a closely related field. Applicants should have an established research agenda and the ability to seek external funding. It is preferred that applicants have certifications in their field through national organizations. Candidates are also expected to demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Salary is competitive, and commensurate with training, education, and experience.

Department Information The Department of Kinesiology is one of three departments in the College of Education, whose programs are accredited by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities (SACS).
