Distinguished Practitioner-in-Residence, Animal Law Program - Sturm College of Law
The University of Denver Sturm College of Law seeks to hire an experienced and nationally visible expert in the field of animal law and policy during the fall 2021 or spring 2022 semester to serve as a Distinguished Practitioner-in-Residence. Among other responsibilities, the individual would be expected to teach a course in the field of animal law and policy, collaborate with the Director of the Animal Law Program on curricular and programmatic innovations, and deliver a public lecture.
Adjunct faculty are required to teach as scheduled, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. The Sturm College of Law operates on a semester system.
- Law degree.
- Ability to teach at the university level.
- College-level teaching experience.

$25,000 - $35,000
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, available market information, and course enrollment, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
