Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor, Boca Raton, FL.

We are seeking candidates for the Assistant/Associate Professor tenure-track position to join our community of scholars who are passionate about nursing and want to thrive in a creative and caring work environment in beautiful Boca Raton, Florida. Florida Atlantic University’s (FAU) Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing is known internationally for its dedication to Caring: expanding the science, practicing the art, studying the meaning, and living it day-to-day. We offer four-degree programs (BSN, MSN, DNP and PhD) with curricula that are unique and caring-based with opportunities for interprofessional education with medical, social work and pharmacy students.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates for this tenure track position should have an earned research doctorate in nursing from an accredited institution (PhD or DNS - doctor of nursing science) or a related field and board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an FNP and have an unencumbered license and be eligible for RN and APRN licensure in the state of Florida. Candidates should have a focused research trajectory and publication record. A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is not sufficient for consideration.

Prior to appointment, the candidate must submit official, sealed transcripts from all institutions where graduate coursework was attempted, whether or not a degree was obtained, as well as an original NACES evaluation, if applicable.
