JOB SUMMARY: Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Federal Work Study position in the Bursar’s Office on the Macon Campus. Maximum of 16 hours per week.

MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Assist students, faculty and staff at the counter when necessary.
  • Answer telephone, direct calls appropriately, take accurate messages, etc.
  • Comply with strict confidentiality laws.
  • Must be able to fax, file, copy, and scan documents as required by the Bursar’s Office staff.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge, well organized, self-motivated and help maintain organizational flow of office.
  • Be dependable and prompt.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Run various on-campus errands as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a current enrolled MGA student.
  • Must be enrolled in 6 or more semester hours per semester.
  • Must have a GPA of 2.0 or greater.
