The School of Nursing at the University of Virginia is seeking applicants for Assistant and Associate Professor of Nursing, General Faculty position (9-month, full time) beginning August 25, 2021.

We seek applicants with strong clinical and academic teaching experience with a specialty area in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. In addition, applicants should demonstrate leadership ability and activity in an academic setting.
A PhD or DNP in nursing, clinical experience in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing is required by the start date of the position. PMHNP certification is required. Experience working with students and teaching a specialty area are required. Licensure in Virginia is required by the start date. At least 5 years as a PMHN required and at least two years as a PMHNP preferred.
Salary and faculty rank are commensurate with education and experience.
