While the Department enhances its research direction and also becomes heavily involved in developing relationships throughout the SOM and continuing existing relationships with already established entities, it is expected that this position will be constantly addressing the impact of these relationships on budget, personnel, space, equipment, and teaching. This position will be proactive in working with the Basic Science administrator in efforts to bridge and standardize other basic science departments and their needs with the ever-changing needs of faculty and staff.
