History: Visiting Assistant Professor of Latin American History - 000080H3

The Department of History at the University of Richmond invites applications for a full-time, one-year visiting assistant professor position in Latin American History to begin August 2021. This is a non-tenure track appointment, annually renewable for up to two years after the initial year, contingent upon performance, budget, and continued need. The area of specialization is Latin America; but the area of concentration is open. We seek candidates with demonstrated teaching excellence and a strong commitment to high quality undergraduate education. The teaching load is 6 courses per year. Experience with instructional technologies is required. PhD is expected prior to appointment.
