Responsibilities

This position receives currency deliveries, records deposit information in the computer database, and verifies deposits are correct.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assembling change for cash register drawers
  • Receiving and verifying all cash from registers
  • Making deposits
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/equivalent required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Computer skills including the ability to make accurate database entries in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and to retrieve boxes of coins from low shelves
Helpful
  • Experience accurately counting bills, coins, and balancing cash drawers
  • Previous bank teller experience

Anticipated Salary Range

$11.00 per hour.

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/Part-Time Job and is not eligible for benefits.

Schedule

This is a part-time position, with typical hours between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm Sunday through Tuesday. Flexibility to cover other shifts including weekdays and holidays may be required based on the needs of the Ringling.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
