Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach (Seasonal)March 01, 2021

Lake Forest College invites applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach. This seasonal (non-benefits eligible) position is ideal for someone seeking coaching experience in a Division III collegiate environment, will offer the chosen candidate the opportunity to assist the head coach with a wide variety of coaching duties in order to accomplish the overall goals and objectives of the men’s lacrosse program. The nature of the position is such that a considerable amount of evening and weekend work will be necessary and travel is required. While reporting to the Head Coach, the chosen candidate will also demonstrate the ability to work as a member of the Forester athletic department “team” and support the mission, goals, and procedures of the department and the College.

Responsibilities:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: assist the head coach in practices and contest management, recruitment of prospective student athletes, monitor academic progress of student athletes, alumni relation activities, edit and review game film, administrative duties pertaining to fund-raising, team travel and other duties as assigned. Successful candidates must have strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment while motivating student-athletes, and be insurable to drive College vehicles.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required with collegiate participation and/or coaching experience in women’s lacrosse preferred.
