The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of weight management, bariatric surgery, and eating disorders. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. A valid psychologist's license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is also required.

Teaching responsibilities may include didactics for interns and practicum students, individual supervision of trainees, and in vivo supervision of students in bariatric surgery psychological assessments.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing evidence-based therapy for weight issues and disordered eating and bariatric surgery psychological evaluations. Psychosocial assessment batteries and weight management interventions for clinical research trials may also be included.
