Advertised Job Summary:This position will manage and coordinate projects for the School of Medicine’s South Carolina Center for Rural and Primary Health Care and act as a liaison to departments and grantees to administer Center grants and contracts. This role will assist administrative team in contracting, invoicing, and reports from funded programs. Collaborates with outside agencies that have agreements with the Center to track program objectives, tasks, and timelines, and manage a subset of Rural & Primary Healthcare programs.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):Master’s degree and 3 years related program experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Prefer previous experience in coordinating programs. Previous project management experience, from conception to delivery. Prefer strong experience in Microsoft package (to included Excel, Word, etc). Experience with computer-based documentation and communication.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with local, state and federal agencies and associations. Ability to communicate effectively, with strong oral and written communication skills. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.
