Assistant Professor of Psychology
Valparaiso University invites applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Department of Psychology. The position will begin August 2021.
We are seeking candidates who have earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Preferred specialty areas include forensic, trauma, and/or clinical assessment and intervention. Teaching responsibilities will be primarily at the undergraduate level, with preferred ability to teach one or more of the following courses: Psychology-Law/Forensic Psychology, Psychotherapy and Counseling, Abnormal Psychology, Testing and Measurement, Introductory Psychology, and Professional Development in Psychology. Qualification and interest in teaching the following courses at the graduate level is also desired: Psychopathology, Research Methods, and Trauma. Candidates will be expected to maintain an active program of research that incorporates mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
