  • Position Description:

    The roleof the assistant coach is to assist the head coach in all phases of the programincluding, but not limited to: recruiting, practice preparation, administrativeduties, game day preparation, coaching, community outreach, academicsupervision and fundraising.

    Qualifications:

    Education/experience/licensing:
    Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
    Collegiate soccer playing or coaching experience.

    Communication and other skills:
    Excellent communication skills both oral and written
    Comfortable and proficient with managing social media accounts
    Ability to learn and implement sports performance software. Background in Sparta Science and Catapult software preferred.

    Working Conditions:This position is an office position and also requires participation at on-field training and coaching both on campus and off. The assistant soccer coaching position can be a high stress position as it pertains to outcomes both on the field and in recruiting. This position also requires unique hours of commitment due to the nature of the training and competition schedule as well as demands in recruiting.
