Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Associate Director of GPEM, the Assistant Director of GPEM will be an integral part of the team responsible for engaging and supporting prospective graduate and continuing students in all phases of the recruitment process to advance the strategic enrollment goals. Assist with development and execution of comprehensive recruitment plan for specific assigned schools/program areas.

Communicate with prospective students via calls, emails, in-person meetings and event attendance regarding professional graduate academic programs.

Review applications and make admission decisions within 1 week of complete file. Review incomplete applications and make admission decisions with available materials, as appropriate.

Record interaction with prospective and current students in a timely, accurate and thorough manner in the school’s constituent relationship management (CRM) system.

Develop and maintain relationships with students including the follow up and requests for various forms and documents. Generate student enrollments by advising prospective students on how academic program offerings can meet their educational and career goals. Advise students on financial aid process and options toward financing professional graduate academic programs.

Assist qualified prospects with application for admission. Collaborate with operations team to ensure that applications and materials are received and processed in a timely manner. Work with operations team to ensure that issues or problems with applications or materials are addressed in a timely fashion.

Maintain the highest level of program-specific knowledge. Act as subject area expert for specified assigned schools/programs. Work with Associate Director of GPEM, Enrollment Marketing and academics teams to obtain an ongoing and deep knowledge of subject areas related to programs and disseminate that information to team.

Implement communication strategies in Slate CRM targeting application completion and- deliver planned messages to and manage conversion activities.

Stay-up-to-date on developments in the assigned subject area(s) through collaboration with partners in assigned academic schools and external research in order to enhance conversations with prospective students and enhance the quality of advising.

Help train new team members.

Design, execute and continually improve program-related recruitment events.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience:

Bachelors Degree.

Strong customer service skills and ability to build and foster strong relationships. Strong interpersonal skills.

2-3 years of admissions experience is strongly preferred, and/or similar experience in recruitment in a similar field.
