Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

The Department of History and Philosophy is a dynamic department committed to engaged scholarship and excellence in teaching. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for three nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of History positions in the Department of History and Philosophy to begin August 2021.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities typically include teaching 27 semester credit hours of the undergraduate survey in either US or world history per academic year. Some service to Department/College/University/professional community is expected.

Excellence in teaching and engagement is expected of all faculty members in the Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences at KSU. Faculty in the Department teach in a variety of modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online.

Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in history or a closely related field, or its foreign equivalent is required as well as a record of effective university teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

    Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses Three or more years of experience teaching at the undergraduate level
