Position Highlights:

The Cognitive Radio Research Lab at the University of Arizona is actively involved in various projects in signal processing, cognitive radios, mmW and High Frequency communications, MIMO systems, and related areas. Qualified candidates are invited to join the lab and contribute to state-of-the-art research in wireless communications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on radar signal processing, machine learning techniques for signal detection and classification, and signal processing for wireless communications
  • Work on sponsored research projects with other researchers and students
  • Assist in writing reports and contract/grant proposals. Participate in meetings with industry and government sponsors. Some teaching duties may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Earned Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field
  • Ten years of experience in industry or academia in radars, signal processing, and communications
