Electrical and Computer Engineering Visiting Faculty Position

Job description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Valparaiso University invites applications for a one-year, visiting faculty position beginning in Fall 2021. 

Candidates must have earned at least an M.S. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related fields are preferred and may be considered for a tenure-track position after the 1-year visiting appointment. Successful candidates are expected to prepare and deliver high quality classes. Valparaiso University’s College of Engineering is ABET-accredited, exclusively undergraduate, committed to teaching, diversity, and inclusion, and ranked in the top 20 of undergraduate engineering programs in the nation that offer only bachelor’s or master’s degrees according to U.S. News & World Report (2021).
