Visiting Assistant Professor of Music (Choral)
Whitman College

The Music Department of Whitman College is seeking candidates for a one-year position in music, with expertise in choral conducting, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor, beginning August 2021. A completed doctoral degree in choral conducting or a related field is required for the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor; candidates with completed doctoral coursework in choral conducting or a related field will be considered at the rank of Visiting Instructor. 


The successful candidate will direct the Whitman College Chorale and Chamber Singers, and instruct an introductory course in music appreciation (Music in Society) and two aural skills classes.
