Briar Cliff University of Iowa, an institution committed to higher education within a liberal arts and Catholic perspective, invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure-track, instructor or assistant professor in Mathematics to start in the fall of 2021 with potential for annual renewal. Candidates will have earned a Master’s or Doctoral degree in mathematics or closely related field. The duties include a 24-hour teaching load, largely focused on general education courses, but including a limited number of upper-level courses. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality education in a Catholic and Franciscan University. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in statistics, but all applications will receive consideration.
