Assistant Director, Business Operations – Access & Accommodations Center (AACE)
- Supervising and coordinating the provision of ADA accommodations by the AACE offices at three GSU campuses (Dunwoody, Newton, Decatur). Supervising, mentoring, evaluating and effectively leading two Access Coordinators, two Administrative Coordinators, and multiple student employees. Expected to work at various campus locations as required by the Director.
- Assessing student requests for accommodations and addressing any implementation challenges with relevant Faculty and Department Chairs.
- Coordinating business operations for the entire unit (e.g. managing comprehensive student accommodation system, coordinating office technology for staff, coordinating assistive technology for students, running AIM, Banner, and other reports, supervising testing and note taking services). Will be involved in contract renewals with external service providers. Developing annual proposals for ongoing and one-time funding processes.
- Works with Director on development of effective policies, procedures, and methods of service provision and on preparing periodic reports for the Division of Student Success and for the Board of Regents.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three years of supervisory/managerial experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
