Job Summary

Provide promotional, administrative, performance assessment, and financial/accounting services in support of assigned program(s) within a research center, academic unit, or other campus units of a school. These functions may encompass a variety of activities related to program success including coordination of program marketing, program administration, program operations, and program development. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: research, academic and administrative management and staff with a school or center and across campus, vendors and sponsors. Responsibilities

Design/develop promotional and marketing materials to include those developed for specific target audiences in support of program outreach efforts.
Plan, schedule and coordinate promotional events.
Coordinate administrative activities associated with program operations such as procurement, records maintenance, compliance, meeting arrangements and minutes, and document preparation.
Develop, analyze, reconcile and report financial data related to program operations.
Develop and maintain performance assessment tools applied in program review to measure and report progress.
Collaborate with internal and external entities to aid institutional or program support.
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience
Four to six years of job related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge of research program promotion and administration. Included are skills in development and administering program assessment tools, marketing, and financial analysis and reporting. Also required are skills in planning, organization, spoken and written communications, scheduling and customer service. Use of office and specialized computer applications and databases are required.

Preferred applicant skills include previous building/tennant/leasing management experience.

This position will specifically be responsible for the onsite operations of the new Georgia Tech Encore at the Interlock facility. The overall mission of this role is to create and sustain a close-knit, collaborative community. Responsibilities include tenant management, educational and networking initiatives, social events, rent collection, lease administration, IT/AV oversight, and prospective tenant recruiting.

Georgia Advanced Technology Ventures (GATV), an affiliate organization of Georgia Tech, recently developed 50,000 rentable square feet of Class T office space in the west Midtown neighborhood. The new facility, Encore at the Interlock, was designed to nurture the growth and commercialization of late-stage / post-incubation start-up’s and other technology innovation companies including ATDC graduates (Georgia Tech’s technology incubator), growing start-up’s, other technology entities with GT relationships, VentureLab entities (faculty start-up’s, third-party entities whose IP comes out of GT), Engage companies (GT program), and Innovation Centers. This new development is a Georgia Tech investment to further its mission of supporting a community of like-minded technology start-up companies, as well as, sponsors, corporate partners, investors, and mentors. The facility will serve as a curated gateway to Georgia Tech’s community and its resources including faculty, staff, labs/researchers, students, and existing GT IP. Onsite programming, overseen by the GT Enterprise Innovation Institute, will serve its occupants in a variety of needed areas including scaling their operations, connecting to investors and partners, coaching/mentoring, networking, etc.
