Travels to provide on-site support at professional conferences, training workshops, and trade shows. Ensures that all grant and training materials are in compliance with contracts. Prepares and processes all travel transactions for the Center.

Assists in the management of the Center’s training programs: Works directly with training customers and acts as a liaison between customer and Center staff; answers customer questions about curriculum and trainings. Provides IT technical assistance to customers using the digital curriculum and to participants of virtual trainings. Maintains customer database and training calendar; assists in developing promotional materials; organizes logistics; confirms registration; ensures training equipment needs are met; coordinates staff assembling and shipping of training materials; monitors space availability for trainings; initiates purchase orders for training expenditures; ensures registration fees are collected and purchase orders for on-site trainings are paid; and ensures compliance to the T-Card and P-Card policies and procedures. Serves as a backup to fiscal for processing sales receipts for training customer credit card orders and for invoicing customers for training registration fees associated with purchase orders and checks.

Provides on-site and virtual support at professional conferences, training workshops, and trade shows. Some travel required. Prepare and process all travel transactions including, but not limited to, travel arrangements and reimbursements.

Assists in workshop set up and processes return of training supplies at end of workshop. Assist in development of training policies and procedures to ensure workshops and other training events run smoothly.

Works with faculty in development and implementation of training management and evaluation systems for professional development programs. Analyzes training pre/post/evaluation data and assist with writing reports needed for grant reporting requirements.

Ensures that all grants and training materials are in compliance with contracts. Maintains research library on early childhood, home visiting, infant mental health, and quality child care.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience.

(Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially, but not limited to; PowerPoint and Word.

Experience and the ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Computers skills to include experience with Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint or comparable software.

Experience working in an office setting environment.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

A valid Florida’s Driver’s License (or the ability to obtain) and reliable transportation.Pay Plan This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.Soft Money Funded Position This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.Schedule The work schedule is M-F, 8-5.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
