OPS Laboratory Technician
Job Description:This position will conduct research related to gene expression regulation at the step of mRNA translation. S/he will contribute to invent cutting-edge novel system to monitor the error in mRNA translation in cell and mouse model using biochemistry and molecular biology. Goal is to understand how the error at the translation step will contribute to the disease and aging process.
Duties and processes include:
- Cell Culture
- Luciferase assay
- RT-qPCR
- Cell sorting
- Sucrose density gradient
- Cloning
$14.00 - $16.00; salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum Requirements:HS diploma and interest in biology.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Biology or similar degree
Research experience and knowledge will be a plus, especially in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, developmental biology, or neurology.
