The design, photography, and social media intern will help the Dean’s office communications team to design and compose promotional materials, including flyers, posters, digital boards, social media graphics, and other products that promote the college and its events and programs. The intern’s primary responsibility will be design for Theme Semester events. During the fall semester, the intern may also attend, document, and report on Theme semester events. Applicants for this position must be available to work during the Spring, Summer, and Fall 2021 semesters (4/1/2021 – 12/15/2021); therefore, you must be enrolled as a student in both the Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 semesters in order to participate. Summer hours are flexible and will be determined in consultation with the supervisor.Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in the Climates theme; excellent written communication skills; ability to think creatively and generate ideas; strong skills in graphic design; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign; knowledge of and experience with various social media platforms; and strong organizational skills, work ethic, and professionalism. A demonstrated interest and skill in photography are preferred. Must be enrolled in Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 in order to participate.Desired Start Date:
