Adjunct Faculty - Fire Science Technology
Part-time Adjunct Faculty
Aurora Fox Valley Campus

Provide instruction and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness in courses assigned by the division Assistant Dean. An adjunct faculty position requires professionals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates for this position must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask as well as the ability to engage large groups of people with complicated material. They must also be able to use technology sufficiently to use a learning management system (canvas) and respond to email.

Areas of instruction needed beginning Spring 2021 (1/19/21 - 5/14/21)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or associate degree and equivalent training in EMT/Fire Science

Illinois State Fire Marshall Fire Fighter III Certification and Instructor II Certification. Must attain Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) EMS Lead Instructors Certification prior to second year of employment. Ability to meet physical ability standards. Valid Illinois driver’s license and clean driving record.
