Description
Under limited guidance and direction of the Associate Director, Gift Administration, the Coordinator, Gift Administration is responsible for the daily activities of the gift processing operations team focusing on complex issues related to donor intent and department efficacy in a high-volume, compliancy driven division. This position will assist in the implementation and administration of programs to ensure the quality, accuracy, completeness and integrity of the gift and biographical data entered into and maintained in the University’s Alumni and Donor database. Responsible for supporting the Associate Director in providing strategic direction to deliver quality gift and data processing and strengthen existing controls. The Coordinator will train and provide guidance to the gift processors as delegated by the Associate Director; and work directly with donors, staff, administration, and other external entities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of directly related experience within a fundraising department. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

*Strong attention to detail and a customer-centric attitude with excellent customer-service skills

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess a positive attitude

*This position will require problem-solving skills to reconcile balances, and verify and account for departmental transactions

*This position requires a background check

Preferred:

*Experience in the Advancement module of Banner
