Job Duties :

ECU Athletics is hiring a temporary football analyst. Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the below:
- Assist staff with daily supervision of players
- Assist Offensive/Defensive Coordinator with all duties for practice and game plan preparation
- Complete breakdowns of opponents to be completed a week ahead of time
- Coordinate cutups of all Offensive/Defensive film
- Assist Offensive/Defensive Coordinator with game plan distribution
- Responsible for drawing Offensive/Defensive Scout cards
- Responsible for Offensive/Defensive Game plan distribution to full time coaches and admins
- Responsible for offseason opponent breakdowns of Offense/Defense
- Responsible for various elements of Offensive/Defensive quality control
- Responsible for editing Offensive/Defensive playbook in DV Sport
- Responsible for construction and distribution of Offensive/Defensive spring playbook
- Responsible for accumulating grades and play counts
- Assist Offensive/Defensive Coordinator with administration of practice scripts
- Provide statistical breakdown for Offensive/Defensive Coordinator
- Assist with recruiting and closing packets as assigned
- Prepare post game clip videos and presentations for recruiting
- Liaison between staff and video to ensure video needs are met for student athlete film review
- Build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with Pirate Club, athletics, and University staff, students, business vendors and all donors and stakeholders.
- Abide by all written policies and procedures of ECU, the Department of Athletics, The Educational Foundation (Pirate Club), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education/Experience :

Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifying degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire

At least one year of football coaching or playing experience required.

License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation :
