Job Description Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager of Administration and Finance, the Grants Coordinator A position in GI will be responsible for all preaward functions, including grant budget creation, submission of all grants through PennERA, all JIT submissions, and updating other support pages, as well as all FCOI requirements. This position also manages all of our discretionary funds, and sends updated reports to faculty monthly.

Job Description

Grants Coordinator A - This position reports to the Manager of Administration and Finance with the department and has a dotted reporting line to the PSOM Office of Research Support Services. The Grants Coordinator A position in GI will be responsible for assisting with all preaward functions, including grant budget creation, submission of all grants through PennERA, all JIT submissions, and updating other support pages, as well as all FCOI requirements. This position also assists with management all discretionary funds, and sends updated reports to faculty monthly.

Grants Coordinator B - In addition to the above and under limited supervision, the Grants Coordinator B will be responsible for the preparation, review and submission of sponsored program proposals for submission to sponsors. Will function as a resource for sponsored program guidelines, policies and procedures. Will support monthly Principal Investigators budget meetings, start up tracking and wayward journal review. Will provide financial monitoring of all discretionary accounts and offer Faculty members guidance on appropriate spending of those funds.

Qualifications

Grant Coordinator A- Associate's Degree or Two Year College with 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Grant Coordinator B- Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required

Position contingent upon funding.
