Position Summary:

University of Georgia, a Division I member of the Southeastern Conference is currently seeking applications for a graduate assistant to provide administrative support for The Georgia Way. The position is a 10-month appointment available beginning in August 2021 and ending in May 2022.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:

Bachelor’s degree. Acceptance into a University of Georgia graduate program. Ability to enroll in at least 9 graduate-level credit hours per semester.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies :

Read and write business correspondence and communicate proficiently with individuals within and outside the University by telephone and email. Work independently and handle multiple tasks. Excellent written and oral communication skills, skills in organizing and coordinating meetings, and the interacting with individuals at all levels. Computer experience in Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, and database knowledge is also highly recommended. Preferred candidates will have a strong interest in pursuing a career in intercollegiate athletics.
