The athletic training position is comprised of twocomponents. The first component isserving as the athletic trainer for the Oklahoma State University athleticsdepartment to develop, coordinate, and administer comprehensive sportsmedicine.
The second component is serving as a clinical athletictrainer with a physician acting as the liaison between the patient, thephysician or support staffs, and the medical assistant. Job includes following the patient from thetime of arrival to their time of departure and making sure all the patient’sand doctors needs are met to provide the best physician/patient experience aspossible.
Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull 50 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations. - Master's Degree
- Two (2) years of professional experience as an Athletic Trainer or equivalent role
- Must be certified by National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification
