Job Responsibilities

Provides technical advice to management concerning office and enterprise automation needs, micro and mini-computers. Responsible for desktop imaging, deployment of software packages, and updates via Microsoft System Center for approx. 2000 computers monitoring helpdesk tickets and responding accordingly. Monitors system storage; maintains system documentation; performs system maintenance; maintains records of equipment and replacement plan. Serves as user contact for problems with automation systems; follows through with solutions to problems; trains users and staff as needed.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A HS diploma and 5 yrs. experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems. A degree in a related field may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer 2-year or 4-year degree in computer science or information technology & 5 yrs. experience in information technology operations.
