Advertised Job Summary:

The Licensing Administrative Associate for the Technology Commercialization Office will coordinate and perform all administrative work associated with licenses, including preparing descriptions of UofSC inventions, posting descriptions to TCO’s website, and sending out marketing materials to companies. The position will create and monitor invoices for TCO licenses and other agreements. The Licensing Administrative Associate will work with UofSC faculty to understand their inventions. This position requires the ability to work well both independently and in a team setting and the curiosity to learn about research and innovations. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy learning about UofSC’s innovative research.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating multiple efforts in a fast-paced office and enjoy detail oriented work that requires coordination with several individuals. A successful Licensing Administrative Coordinator will enjoy learning about new technologies and building successful relationships with faculty inventors.
